Mandat « Allocation Evolutive »

Management style

It consists in investments in listed instruments, parts and shares of funds managed by Compagnie Monégasque de Gestion (subsidiary of CMB) or other investment companies, forwards and futures contracts negotiated on regulated or non regulated markets.

Investments are split in two asset classes. The first one comprises interest rate products and bonds: it refers to financial instruments with a low risk of capital loss (by convention these assets are called “no risk assets”). The second asset class with permanent risk of volatility and by convention called “risk-assets” invests in stock markets, forwards and futures contracts linked to underlying instruments without any restrictions and/ or parts of hedge funds.

Objectives

The “Allocation Evolutive” management style aims to benefit from the performance which “risk-assets” (as defined before) may offer and to offer partial protection of the capital invested in the portfolio.
The choice and diversification of the above mentioned instruments and products are determined by the Bank in accordance with the method known as “insurance of the portfolio” (“l’assurance de portefeuille”). Investment decisions, as well as asset allocations taken by the Bank will depend on its own evaluation of market opportunities.
The Bank may decide to modify the asset allocation between “risk-assets” and “no risk assets» as well as its periodicity, depending on their performances.
