Laureen Pironnet
Chief Risk Officer
Career
Laureen Pironnet has been Chief Risk Officer (CRO) of CMB Monaco since 2023. In this role, she oversees the bank’s entire risk management framework, ensures the robustness of internal controls, and maintains regular dialogue with supervisory authorities. Prior to this, she held the position of Head of Permanent Control and Risk Management at CMB Monaco, where she led second-line controls, oversaw the risk appetite framework and risk mapping, and facilitated risk governance bodies.
Before joining CMB Monaco, Laureen Pironnet held similar responsibilities at UBS Monaco, first as Deputy Head and then as Head of Permanent Control and Risk Management. She also worked as Internal Audit Manager at BPCE and as an Experienced Senior Auditor / Engagement Manager at KPMG Monaco, developing deep expertise in audit and risk analysis.
A graduate of SKEMA Business School’s Grande École program, Laureen Pironnet brings more than 18 years of experience in risk management and governance within leading financial institutions to CMB Monaco.
